Love?

Love is a sleazy smiling parasite
a sharp scream, a cry, as strong as eagles
Love is an uncontrollable water hose,
a drink of sweet pressure
when you dangle your feet over a skyscraper.
Love is the frothy sea, the rought sand, love swings you
Love; a distant flame, the crackling lily
A flicker in your throat, Twines of yearning
Like petals diving into a whirlpool
Love; naked threads, fickle threads, weak threads
grapples, ripples, undulates and frustrates.
Love is black and slippery, sometimes fluffy
Love's a whispering baby
A sleeping god

love will scathe your burns with a lime needle
Love is a dream scattered on to your eyes
static mercury
Doses of desire, of ice and fire
Smotherings of earth and warm air
love is salt waterfalls
love kills the lonely
Love will never stop breathing
